It’s easy to get caught up in the daily routine of work, projects, and other responsibilities - even superheroes take time off.

What do you like to do during your “day off”? Do rest and recover, or squeeze in an adventure? For me, both - I like to relax in bed (sometimes with cookies), and other times I crave to get active. I love the outdoors. Fulfilling that sense of adventure is truly a life well lived.

Spending tie outdoors makes you feel great. - Elizabeth Hurley

This week, I chose to go all-out and have some fun outdoors whenever I could squeeze the time in. I’m still discovering what Knoxville has to offer, and have yet to be disappointed. I was able to reschedule with a friend, from my hometown St.petersburg Florida. He’s a rock climber, tiny home builder, van converter/dweller, mountain biker...you get the point. I was stoked to be able to ride with him for a few hours at Sharps Ridge in the heart of [Knoxville Tennessee’s Urban Wilderness](http://www.outdoorknoxville.com/urban-wilderness)

If you didn’t catch my first time mountain biking last week - check this out. Let’s just say Sharps Ridge is NOT for noobs like me. I was grateful to learn from Logan some basics to get me thru safely.
