How do you spend your time?
What are some simple facts of time we can all agree upon?
Time is something we all think about. We all live busy lives. We all say and complain "I don't have enough time". But how can we not have enough of the same amount of time? Time is a resource. It is like money in that we can "spend" it. However, unlike money, once its gone its gone forever. You cannot "get more time". Time passes anyways, so it makes sense to use it wisely. To truly value your time. What would that look like if you truly valued your time? What would you do with it? Where would you spend it?
Here is a list of ways to spend time, whether wisely or unwisely.
...You get the idea. There are tons of ways to use your time. I want to discet the best practical uses of your time. I believe structure is important, but doesn't need to be a grind. I think most people structure their days around work, but I could be wrong. I think work is important. It is supposed to give us a feeling of satisfaction and passion daily.
I want to break the list down into a more concise feeling so I know the best uses of my time. And by best I mean things that are of value to me. Because if the things I value during the time in which I also value, then that means I do value my time. I don't mean to sound so rigid with it. It' not supposed to be a checklist type feeling. But I do think it is of high important to know what my priorities are.
Priorities are things of important to you, no one else. Time is uniquely yours. Time is your lifeforce.
Here are some more facts of time we can all agree upon
This is an overly simplistic look on time. But it makes sense to be conscious of that fact and live in congruence with it. If I know I'm going to die, then how would I like to spend the rest of my time here on Earth? At least, in this form. I think its best to live each day day by day. Most of us are living in the past or the future, not the present. That's where I get stuck at least. Where do I get deep satisfaction? These are the things that pop into my head.
Some of these overlap. And some of these are mere wishes but I'm not getting the results I want.
Where do I wish to spend my time but am not currently getting the results I want?
Friendship
Right now I don't have many friends. I don't necessarily even want or need a ton of friends. I'm not a social butterfly. But I do crave people wanting to see me. Or asking to hang out with me. Or to be more in control of it. Such as asking for a friend to hang out and then them saying yes. This does happen, but not consistently enough. Especially on days off, I struggle with filling this time with friendship time.
Using My Voice
I want to practice using my voice. Either singing, comedy, public speaking, coaching. I need to put better things into my brain. Like new experiences and quality books. Read a book and listen to Memory Supercharger Paraliminal.
Creating
I want to spend my time productively. I need spend time off and on the computer. How can I do this? Go to meetups. Do creative things like shooting video or taking pictures. Write, but with a pen and paper. Read. Put yourself out there. Call a friend or video chat. As far as computer work - I can learn new skills.
Movement
My mode of transportation right now is walking. I'm getting bored with that. And I can't really go as far as I wanna go. I would like to fix my bike. And get a car. I miss having one.
Nature
I ought to be spending time in nature to remain in a peaceful, calm, and meditative state.

I want to be curious about reality, instead of stuck in my head.
