The Glastonbury dragons decided to make an appearance this weekend just gone. It was such a lovely day for a colourful and loud parade up the high street and along the road and up to the local spring.
The town dosent need much persuasion when it comes to having a celebration and as you can see everyone involved had so much fun getting dressed up for the occasion.
The procession compromised roughly of the white dragon, hundreds of people and its loud possy of drummers, followed behind by the red dragon and crowd, its huge drumming troupe which i must say won any battle hands down.
The viking warriors held the traffic at bay for everyone, while the procession made its merry way towards the shade of the spring about 1/2 mile further along.
Once the dragons reached the shade of the spring, the road was blocked by hundreds of happy people. So what to do? Have a street party.
