Hello!
If you want to relax from the urban bustle and enjoy the beauty of nature, then I suggest You to go to the West of Ukraine, to appreciate the attractions of Transcarpathia.
Transcarpathia is the place where you will be able to see the wonders of nature and enjoy the historical sights of the local area. The choice of where to go in Transcarpathia huge, all depends on what stick with you. Well, so the choice was easier, today I want to talk about the attractions of Transcarpathia, which is worth a visit.
Transcarpathia is the place where each season beautiful in its own way and has its advantages. For example, in the winter is skiing. There are many resorts that offer their services to your ski vacation was excellent from the lifts to the ski equipment.
Well, summer is by far the Hiking, Biking and picnics.
Whatever season you choose, it will not hurt to visit local attractions and enjoy them.
One of the main natural attractions of Transcarpathia is Synevyr lake, or as it is called sea eye. It is unique in that it is situated at an altitude of 989 meters above sea level, and was awarded the title of Alpine lakes.
Probably You wonder why it is called sea eye? It's pretty simple, if you observe the beauty of the lake from the mountain Lake, which is located next to the lake looks like a huge blue eye with pupil -an island in the middle.
But for local residents to travel by carts is the norm.
Another unique place that definitely suggest to visit is the waterfall Shypit. The name waterfall received for his volume, which already from afar is heard like the whisper. The height of the waterfall is 14 meters.
Best time to visit is spring, when the snow melts, or autumn, when it rains, because at this time it is the most affluent. In the summer it is a small trickle.
Definitely recommend to climb a mountain that's close by. You can see the stunning views, which in summer and winter are amazingly beautiful.
By the way, near the Shypit waterfall is a mountain Gemba (Gymba), whose height is 1497 meters above sea level. So, if you decide to visit the waterfall, you can visit the top of this mountain. Near the mountain village of Pylypets.
Here is the Church of the Nativity of the blessed virgin, which was built from Smereka, and is stored in the iconostasis of the XVIII century Near the structure of the Church stands a monumental two-tiered wooden bell tower.
I would like to say that she Smereka is the landmark of Transcarpathia. First, to meet the tree can only on the altitude, ranging from 900 meters above sea level, the second is one of those perennial plants, whose age can reach 300-400 years, and in others because of Smereka doing local musical instrument — trembita. By the way, not any Smereka tree suitable for making popular the musical instrument, but only one that was struck by lightning.
One of the most popular attractions among tourists are the hot springs in Beregovo and Kosino, in which the water has high salinity, which has a positive effect on health.
Let us examine each in more detail. Thermal springs in Berehove located in the open air, and are filled with water from the geyser to a depth of about 1.5 km, which has a high salinity and antibacterial properties. By the way, the temperature of the water in the geyser is about +50°With, in the pool it cooled to +30°C.
More modern are the Thermal waters in Kosino. The uniqueness of which is that it's 5 pools with different temperatures and useful properties, as well as the Royal bathing complex, which consists of 7 unique saunas, which have no analogues in Ukraine: eucalyptus sauna, a salt foxhole, a herbal sauna, Roman sauna, Turkish sauna, Hungarian sauna and ice cave.
In addition, the complex also includes: "the Royal hall" with the mineral water recreation area , a restaurant with Hungarian and Transcarpathian cuisine. In summer, besides all mentioned here are 3 slides and the extreme Park.
Interesting idea with a 16-metre swimming pool — the Golden tap of health", which is fed water from a huge Golden crane that hung in the air.
Thermal water is produced from wells with a depth of about 1200 meters, and the water is full of sodium, silicic acid, fluorine and many other useful minerals.
If to speak about sights of Transcarpathia, created by human hands, it is advised to visit the picturesque and colorful town of Mukachevo, or rather the Ukrainian-Hungarian fortress Palanok castle, which is located in it. The castle is located on the mountain of volcanic origin with a height of 68 meters and is an architectural monument of XIV-XVII centuries. The territory of the castle is about 18 thousand square meters. Therefore, the size of the castle is impressive.
Another unique landmark of Transcarpathia is a Center of rehabilitation of brown bears "Synevyr", located near the lake Synevir. Here are animals who have suffered from abuse. The centre's staff take care of the bear, to the extent that re-teach them to live in dens, not in cages.
The only thing I want to see, the winter is not the best time to visit, since bears are in hibernation. But in the summer, spring and autumn, you will be able to watch them, and personally to feed.
And, of course, Transcarpathia is famous still for its cuisine, and to taste you can in the colorful establishments here called kolyba.
Attractions of Transcarpathia, a great many, but still, in my opinion, the main beauty of the local nature. Therefore, I advise you to go here to self-assess!
