That does not look like the same kitchen. You did a wonderful job - I especially love the added counter space - I want to say 'island' but I am not sure if it is correct. Also, the smaller the gap the nicer the grout!!

When noting detentions, you can use a white board marker on the windows. That is what I do. Good for diagrams too.
