Government, like it or hate it seems to be the common state of things. From ancient times to the present, people need someone to lead them. The more the power of the leader, the more the people suffer depending on the leader's whim.

Democracy or Republics have captured the peoples imaginations as the best ways to ensure the peoples freedoms are secured. For the time being. However, Democracies and Republics, having given the people the power to choose their leaders on a regular basis, seem to strengthen the leadership position with every subsequent election. The government's power grows. Voting for the government to protect their interests, over the interests of the other, lead to bureaucracy and the pilling up of laws. This in turn gave the government more power.

The question many have asked is how to stop the people from, with the aid of democracy cause their own enslavement. If the end result of democracy is a dictatorship, why not have a King instead. This is how republics where formed, by trying to delegate the power of the peoples votes to more reasonable people, which as in the case of the USA it still lead to democracy, and mob rule, as the votes where handed out to everyone.

The reason for this lovely development could be reasoned as being one of two things, (a) The politicians saw an opportunity to give themselves more power by spreading out the vote, (b) the jealousy of the people that couldn't vote of the people that could.

What I would like is to provide a solution the problem of electing people to represent your interests, and it goes something like this:

Firstly:
The rules

  1. Restriction to everyone under the age of 35 to be a member of parliament
  2. Has at least two children
  3. No member of Parliament should have taken government assistance of any kind
  4. A fee is required for anyone seeking to run for parliament
  5. Parliament consists of 12 members

Secondly:
The process

  1. Use the common lot method, select from a random selection of people that have registered to run for parliament
[anyone can run as long as they pay the fee] (the amount of applicants that will be selected is 60)
  2. Eliminate anyone selected that isn't over 35 , has taken government assistance and doesn't have 2 children (they should pay a fine) and replace them with another random selection. (this cuts on costs of having to vet everyone that registers at the beginning, as you would only have to vet a few)
  3. Current members of parliament will get to know the applicants and vote on their preferred applicant
  4. Applicants are graded from 1 to 30, by the current members of parliament,
  5. The top 12 Applicant with the lowest score, replace the members of parliament
  6. Members are replaced every 4 years.

Thirdly Payment;
1)The fees gathered go to expenses to run the lottery, and the remainder is shared equally and paid on a monthly basis to the member's of parliament.

Example: 10000 people register @ 60 $ each = 600,000 $
600,000 $ / 12 members = 50,000$
50,000$ / 48 months = $1041.67 a month

How are laws passed

  1. Government Departments
    a) Parliament
    b) House of Lords
    c) Monarch / Or president

  2. Law is suggested by Monarch or President or by the people (10,000 signatures)
    a) All twelve parliament members must agree
    b) 50% + 1 vote House of lords

  3. Law has been created.
