I like the way the writers mix things up. They break the mold. We certainly don't expect old people to go to war against the monsters the way these people do. I've always had a respect for the intelligent use of the grotesque in art. I think it's very effective on a symbolic level and also as a way to shatter our expectations. Bloody stuff, violent stuff...no. But the grotesque, as used here, really does the job to represent a number of ideas. Anyway, that's the way I see it. Never watched the Texas Chainsaw Killer or even one installment of Friday the 13th. That's horror for horror's sake. I have no stomach for that. But as a tool to get ideas across...yes.
Dear @agmoore !
Madame!
My mother, like you, often enjoys TV dramas. However, I don't see it.
It's funny that you enjoy Netflix dramas!
Even in my world, young people enjoy watching Netflix!
As a teenager, I enjoyed secretly watching the American film Friday the 13th! It was fun to see the bodies of young, attractive white American women!😄
I'm a little worried about whether I gave you an appropriate English expression!
I hope you understand the awkward and rude English of American elementary school students!😄
I hope I don't cause you any offense or embarrassment!
I hope your health and long life!
