And that's probably where moving on becomes different from forgetting. You can leave something behind without pretending it never happened

That's a good point. Sometimes the value isn't in what happened but in what we eventually choose to do with it

Exactly. A painful experience can change how you read people, make decisions, or protect yourself. But do you think every painful experience has to teach us something?

That's probably one of the quiet ways experience changes us. You don't always notice you've grown until life gives you the same test again

And sometimes the lesson isn't obvious until you encounter a similar situation years later and suddenly realize you've handled it differently

True! I've learned a lot from my mistake

I like that distinction. Sometimes two people can go through something similar and come out completely different because they interpreted the experience differently

That's interesting because we rarely see the lesson while we're actually going through the difficult part. Do you think the experience itself prepared you, or was it what you learned from it afterward?

I agree with this man. We learn form our past mistakes π―

That can be so terrible especially when you need the job to support yourself

I agree that both contributed to the situation, but βthe woman's decision must be preferredβ still leaves the father's role unclear. If you were the father, what would you consider your responsibility

I think both should take responsibility, but trying to convince her is different from having control over the decision. If she ultimately refuses, should the father have any legal or moral power to stop

I agree that the woman carries the heavier physical burden, but I wouldn't call every pregnancy simply a βmistake' If she isn't ready, what do you think the father should realistically be able to do?

I understand your frustration with preventable pregnancies, but people don't always end up in these situations through simple carelessness. Do you think there are circumstances where abortion can still

Prevention is definitely better than facing an unwanted pregnancy. But once the pregnancy happens, do you think calling abortion βmaking yourself a killerβ leaves enough room for difficult circumstances?

I understand the βwho is affected moreβ argument, but consequences don't always determine who gets the final decision. Where do you think the father's say should end?

RE: Snaps Container // 8/22/2026, 4:12:00 AM
That's a fair point because pregnancy affects the woman physically in a way the man can't fully experience. But do you think that gives her the final say regardless of the father's wishes?

I agree that readiness matters, especially because the child will ultimately live with the consequences too. But should readiness alone determine the decision? What if both parents genuinely disagree?

So frustrating because I blamed myself that I should have withdrawn during the week and more frustrating because it was the weekend and no one will restock the ATM until Monday
