Short is more powerfull, but more importantly lighter, faster ,much cheaper. I wouldn't wanna walk with my saw in the forest and if only cut the three down. A smaller much lighter saw can do the rest.

If it's less then 100 meters panels are fine. As a farmer I would look into sheep fencing and old rebar as poles
