Waiting - hard,
All the sacrifice, all the struggle to know it wasn't necessary;
To grasp something, presently unrealized as it is,
Something regained:
A hope of gaining nothing,
But a return, a worthy goal, a dream, an actuality -
From which to perceive.
Waiting - too hard,
To return to where I have no recollection of being,
And recollect being itself.
