Thank you @krabgat

Wow that sounds amazing - still being hot after a week!

It surely is! I stayed in some charity ran hostal for 5 USD haha...

Hey @JPPhotography. Food is great in Guatemala for sure and it didn't hurt my wallet too :) I skipped Acatenango for a different one in Xela - will post about it soon... now after not being allowed to

Great to hear you're out for a trip. Looking forward to future posts!

Thanks @silvared945 for your kind wishes. Even though it might sound like Guatemala is well of the beaten path it is not much of a case for Antigua - now when kinda just passing through for second time

@choogirl wow thank you for the info. Might head down there to check it out for myself :) Panama is still on my to do list...

That's great - Small world indeed, I do get these random encounters all the time.

Thank you @blingit ! They are always after nail scissors at least - not this time though. Guatemala seems like an easy border compared to others around. Have some not so good stories to come up soon...

@ceciliajess Oh for sure you would like it! There are also some secret beaches to practice yoga at low tide...

Pre-pandemic Georgia...Also don't forget Stalin - the leader of Soviet Russia was Georgian.

Thank you for the tip, it is quite a trip from here but I will definitely consider it in the future ;)

Hehe I totally feel you. They are trying their best with us "gringos"...

That is quite amazing to get so close... I have encountered some wild animals myself while in Costa Rica and it is not easy at all...respect! BTW is it the very same bird on each picture?

Hey @menati, what camera are you using?

Thank you Sonneymar!

The art of portrait photography...something I would like to venture myself into as well. Good stuff!

Wow that is what I call fancy looking food.

Thank you, Sir! Storytelling is surely a big part of my travel blogging.
