Young, innocent, eager to learn... But ended up in a foster home.
If all orphans lived in one country, that would be the tenth largest country in the world.
No matter what the reason they became orphans, together we can at least help them by bringing some school articles for this new school year to them. Some clothes or shoes so they can fit in with the rest of the kids at school and not be bullied (yes that happens).
We focus so much on the hungry poor children in other countries, but we forget that orphans in our own city need our attention and help just as much. Adopt. Pass by a foster home and ask what they are in need of. Give and you will be rewarded by heartbreaking thankful smiles.
