But I thought dredging was so environmentally unfriendly that California Oregon and Washington all had to ban it even in the smallest amounts.
However when you do it on a massive scale it is perfectly okay and environmentally friendly....?
Now I am all for having shipping and realize that the Mississippi River it is extremely important.
However the long-term effects of us damaging the environment are definitely going to be catching up with us in the long term.
We need to start learning to live with nature.
And honestly enough look at how much fuel and oil is needed to do this dredging.
Trucking edge only a small ways to dump it is feasible however if you try to transport that amount of material over a long distance it becomes extremely cost-prohibitive.
