You have failed to mention the single most important way to build on Hive, that is:

Relevant, valid and interesting commenting on other people's posts, done after reading then of course.

Simply voting other people's posts isn't a good way to build relationships and it's those that will accelerate a users account.

I also personally think that you should never try to make money without putting in the effort at HIVE.

Voting other people's posts doesn't show effort. Reading them and engaging with the author does. As does building and then nurturing relationships.

I built my account in this way, starting in mid-2017, and in my opinion it's the only way. I think any post on how to build on Hive should include this fundamental element.
