My daughter who is now five had a highly embarrassing moment in church yesterday.
She wanted to be like the musicians and so took her toy microphone (which she calls a microwave) with. While the church was singing she was happily standing in our pew singing with her microphone.
When everyone sat and announcements started she accidently pressed a button on the microphone, which then started loudly playing its own silly tune. Most people turned and look with smiles thinking it was very cute, but my daughter seriously tried to disappear by hiding her face in my jacket. ☺
It’s amazing how children change and grow up. If she was a toddler, that tune would have been extremely fascinating and she would have not stopped pushing it... I think I would have been the one with red cheeks then!
