Is there any other known exchange currently voting for witnesses on Steem aside from @blocktrades?

This is what I figured too. If they want to build Steem-like smart contracts on Tron blockchain then acquiring Steemit makes no sense. If they want to put that much money and effort they are better off

It's good that you guys are capable of adapting when the circumstances change. I hope you manage to achieve your goal as video hosting alternative!

New user from Tron? Welcome! What is your relationship to sesameseed?

Being forced to disable withdrawal and/or to take loan already kind of working as a consequence in my opinion. Is that severe enough to achieve better governance? I don't know. That aside, a way more

What are the coins you mention that has few weeks unstake time? I believe your statement is true. I just want to know what other coins has long stake periods.

So it's better to have custom stake period with governance influence scaling with said period, right? Exchanges being a factor is why I am leaning more to forcing the entity to determine how long they

Justin Sun is such a wild card, not sure his involvement is good or bad in the long run. But at least when the investment is officially announced it will help the price in the short term.

VESTS is there so rewarding SP via inflation can be done with a single change of value instead of adding differing values to ALL accounts that has SP according to the amount of SP on each account. I'm

SBD technically kind of already a SMT. Stable tokens will definitely pop up as SMTs but what makes SBD different is that it's on-chain and non-custodial. We can't make SMT that works like DAI on Steem

One of the reason why some people like staked STEEM (SP) is because they know when their account is compromised they won't lose all their crypto immediately so if you propose to implement it this way they

13 weeks lockup is way too risky for an exchange to stake customer's fund to influence a single network in a market as volatile as crypto. Wanting liquid STEEM having the same influence as the ones staked

EIP is definitely a net positive change. While circle-jerking is still rampant (honestly, we can never truly get rid of it unless we implement some kind of on-chain KYC), bid bots are practically dead.

So people with a lot of stake know what people in general (regardless of stake) want? As you said, if opinions of people with smaller stake are straight up ignored we can just leave, degrading the value

Understandable, but the proposal on the original post will kill the dispute of ideal staking period once and for all so I personally think it's plain better than just a variable change to yet another arbitrary

Instant power down with burn is not mutually exclusive with progressive power up period. You can make the burn percentage fee scale with the stake duration. For example, 1 week stake has 1% burn fee, 2

VP regenerates in 5 days, the post payout window doesn't matter.

Definitely still needs more discussions before coming up with final design but I strongly agree with the proposed foundation. The complexity of the new system can be abstracted via UI for users to work

THIS!

Yeah, I don't see the problem either. You got to be very sloppy to lose the entire database especially without backup checkpoints.
