😃This was such a great read and tour. Thank you so much for taking us on the trip. The visuals are superb. I felt the adrenaline rush. I felt some fear but mostly excitement. What a location!!! So much to explore and enjoy up there in the mountains. The rides, the colors, hotels, attractions in general. I can understand the need for one to stay by one of the hotels. There’s so much to see and do there. Just a day is certainly not enough.
What was most intriguing from the Ripley’s section?

"Cable cars! We will be ascending to the heavens in style!" Our tour guide announced.

Haha! This is a good one. It made me chuckle. Nice intro to the adventure.

Fortunately, one of my companions calmed me down by explaining that it was normal. As he had been frequenting these rides several times already in the past, the cable cars have the actual tendency of slightly shaking when traversing thru the wheel tracks on these columns (you can see a close-up photo of these mechanisms above). And true to his word, we felt these same occurrences every time we passed thru the rest of the pillars.

Oh I’ve experienced those shakes and the sound that comes with them but on a much shorter cable ride (that seemed long). Even as the shakes become a bit familiar, my grip on the cable car remains tight, I do a little deep breathing, look out and down on the possible landing locations, decide to then look ahead and keep positive while anticipating the next shake. It’s a slow but intense ride.😆😂
Not sure how well I’d manage it in foggy conditions. Lol!

Great that you had a companion to help keep you calm. I traveled with two kids that I was supposed to help to keep calm but as I felt the shakes, all I could do, was take a firmer grip and shout,”Sit!!”😂🤣
