Hive absolutely provides an excellent platform for digital nomads for a few reasons: it's possible to start earning 7 days into starting, and it's also possible to reinvest the earnings so they grow into a more sustainable income over time, and Hive itself has strong potential to increase in fiat value (not to mention be used as its own currency).

The barriers for this type of usage are the current fiat price and adoption, which would preclude Hive's use as a stable form of income for quite a long time, at least without having some other supplemental form of income. Once those two barriers are surpassed, Hive would become the most attractive option by a long shot.
