Recently Ii've had some positive experiences exchanging ideas with other Hive users that quickly come back to lessons learned from books that we've read and been inspired by or learned something valuable.

I think exchanging book recommendations is a very underrated. Few things have a more lastimg positive effect on how we think, what we do and what we achieve than reading good books. Asking someone what book they've read that had the most positive impact on their life is then an opportunity to get the best of the best. Often picks you would not have thought about yourself.

To me, the best book I've read in terms of how it has helped me is "Simple Rules: How to thrive in a complex world" (which you can see in the picture below of one row in my bookshelf). The main lesson I made from reading it now guides everything from how I prioritize work to how I treat my crypto portfolio and Hive earnings.

But I'm curious, what book(s) are you reading, or about to read, and why?

Brought around 1/3rd of my books to my new apartment. Still some of them that I haven't read, but look forward too.

It really can be any subject. I've had a tendency to read mostly non-fiction, as I've hungered to learn new killer strategier to improve my life, or learn new things that will sharpen my mind. However, in the past few years (especially since after I began building on Hive besides working) I've been using my product soving parts of the brain so much throughout the day already that adding books that try to explain hard-to-grasp concepts on top of it is a bit of an overkill. So I am increasingly enjoying easier reads, whether it is fiction or history books (the latter I find allow me to still learn something without demanding too much, as it is just siting and describing events rather than trying to introduce new concepts that require deep thinking).

So please let me know in the comments what book(s) you're planning to read, what you hope to get out from them, or why you're looking forward to reading them 🙂.

Alternatively, what are the books you've read recently that you really loved, and why?
