This is the start of my two-month walking challenge. Anyone who would like to take part is cordially invited. A brief motivation: I work part-time and study at the same time, so I don't get as much exercise as I used to. I miss the daily activity. Several times I have resolved to go out every day. Unfortunately, I didn't have the discipline. That's why I'm now trying a challenge. Last year I had a similar push-up challenge, which went well until I got sick and set my goals too high. This time I'm calling out the #Daily4kPlus Challenge: At least 4,000 steps a day, because regular exercise is proven to be healthy.

Rules (short and simple)

  • Post daily, even if the step target has not been reached. More important than the number is the habit of sharing the daily score.
  • I prefer to use the Web3 app Actifit to post, but it's not a must. A simple hive post or comment is enough.
  • For visualization there is an activity card generator that I link to, feel free to use it.
  • My posts usually appear a day late (e.g. activity 15.01. is posted on 16.01.) because I often get home late and need time to prepare.

Participation period

  • Start: 15.01.2026
  • End: 15.03.2026

Conditions of participation / tracking

  1. allowed: steps taken on foot (everyday routes, walks, walking pad, treadmill).
  2. not allowed: steps taken during other sports (e.g. cycling, swimming, team sports) and simulated steps by manipulating a tracker.
  3. honesty, this is not about taking the most steps but simply about having a goal that you can achieve.

Goal

  • At least 4,000 steps a day. More is welcome, but not a must.

Exceptions

  • Illness: An exception applies in such cases - please report or post briefly.

Reward

  • There is currently no reward. Perhaps a sponsor will be found for the next round. My main aim is to get more exercise. :)

If you want to take part, please comment and let me know.
