Update: In the past five days, the most expensive AMP price on exchanges has been $0.190519, meaning that even at the most expensive price, AMP has been a much cheaper buy on exchanges than through this crowdsale. We want to reiterate that there is a possibility that AMP could fall after this crowdsale, even if this occurs later.
We've warned you in the past and we continue to warn you:
Estimate exchange price: $0.17
Estimate crowdsale price: $0.26
Sarah buys 100 AMP for $26 through the crowdsale, while Bob buys 100 AMP for $17 through exchanges. If Synereo's idea fails, Bob loses $17, while Sarah loses $26. If Sarah or Bob take a greater risk, such as buying 10,000 AMP, Sarah will have lost $2600 while Bob will have lost $1700.
What happens if AMP continues to fall on exchanges in the next six days, while this crowdsale continues? Again, the price discrepancy is widening and we've called Synereo out this whole time, as buyers on exchanges have received a better deal most of the time. Finally, we think that there's a possibility that AMP falls in price after a while following the crowdsale - meaning that even $0.17 may be too expensive if this probability happens. For an example, if AMP falls to $0.09 in January of next year, why the rush to buy during this crowdsale? I agree that no guarantees of future prices exist, which is why if you must buy AMP now, make sure to get the best price for you - don't overpay!
AMP may be a good buy in the long run, but it also may be much cheaper than this whole crowdsale before that long run high price, so we caution people to be aware of the costs you're paying, when you may have alternative cheaper prices. So far, there's been quite a few suckers. Don't be one!
