RE: How Early Are We In The Crypto Game?
Well done with the internet analogy. As far as I'm concerned, there are two types of people when it comes to crypto adoption. Those who believe crypto is the future, and those who will believe.

RE: It's tax time in the United States! Who Pays What?
I agree, a progressive income tax system is usually best. And even though I wrote in the post “fair share,” progressive taxation was never intended to be fair, it was intended to encourage social stability.

RE: USA: Falling Apart…
Great post @lighteye. And with the Fall and Rises of Empires, wars are usually part of the transition. And if it is so, it will suck most of us into it.

RE: America's growing appetite for debt through the decades 1950 to 2013.
Debt cycles can be good and bad. Good, when debt is used productively. Bad when debt is used unproductively and the debt service payments exceed the income generated, causing people to take out more debt

RE: Debt attracts debt
“Debt attracts debt.” I think this sums it up. The more debt you have, the more debt you don't mind having. And debt is so prevalent and inexpensive nowadays; people, corporations and governments use it

RE: Carrying the shell
"People want it for what it means, not for what it is." This sentence resonated with me. I find that people buy a lot things to impress others (or society) rather than buying it for themselves
