It was very dry before then. We had a big storm a few nights ago and some more rain the last couple of day. Just as well as a lot of rivers in France start here! The grass is beginning to look less brown!

Looks lovely there! Busier than here (although on market day in the summer our little town becomes very busy too!). It is nicer since the rain has come and cooled things down a bit!

Yeah, we walk our dogs a lot. We don't have a garden so when they need the toilet we need to take them out. The exercise is good for us all too! :)

He has an ear infection and has been scratching his face. The collar prevents him from scratching himself. They are also used to stop animals from licking wounds or pulling out stitches.

We stayed in Orleans once on the way down (we used to live in North London, and so experimented with various routes and time leaving - late night, early morning, etc). Have fun! :)

In Central France. It's hotter a couple of hours south of here (over 40) and at least it cools down a bit at night. This is the third heatwave this year (in the last 65 years there has been 45 heatwaves
