Hello 🐝lovely🐝bees🐝! It’s Friday 28th August 2020!! Happy #MarketFriday!

Yesterday, after serving breakfast, saying goodbye to the guests, we cleaned the rooms and then went up to the other house (it was about 4pm by the time we had finished everything here). We took up a load of paint we had had delivered. My wife put some of the paint on the walls in the kitchen to see how it looked and I pottered about in the garden. We then went for a lovely walk with the dogs.

After that we had a few drinks, lit the firepit and enjoyed the last nice evening for a week or so (the weather is set to get a bit cold, and wet, over the next week). I messed about with the guitar (at the moment I am practicing scales a lot).

We had no bookings for the B&B. When we got back to our house we took the dogs for another walk and then watched a bit of TV.

It is obligatory to wear masks during the market and everyone is doing so (the Gendarmes are walking through the town checking!). Most are wearing them properly, with only a few below-the-nosers.

Later we hope to get up to the other house and get on with painting the kitchen (depending on if we get any last minute bookings). There are no B&B bookings this weekend so if it stays like that we will go up tomorrow too. Or maybe we’ll stay the night, tonight… but as the weather isn’t great probably not! Sunday we are going to some friends for lunch. What are your plans for the weekend?
