Grading is just a way of evaluating student's performance therefore whether using grade of alphabet or just pass/fail the main thing is no matter what there would be those who failed and those who pass.

The essence of the grade is to bring out the best in students therefore whichever grade that would be suitable a particular can adopt it but I am of the opinion that grading alphabetically should be encouraged
