Barcelona 2-8 Bayern Munich (2019-20):-
It was a quarter-final match. Bayern reached the semifinals after beating Barcelona 8-2 at the Stadio da Luz in the Portuguese capital Lisbon. Thomas Muller and Philippe Coutinho scored twice for the German club that day. Ivan Perisic, Serge Ganabri, Joshua Kimich and Robert Lewandowski scored once each. Luis Suarez scored a goal in the second half after an own goal by David Alaba in the first half. Quique Setién team scored four goals in both halves. The Spanish club ended the 2019-20 season without a title after losing by a huge margin.
Liverpool 8-0 Besiktas (2006-07):-
It was the fourth round match of the group stage. Liverpool hasn't won in the previous three matches. In the previous match, they faced a lot of criticism against the Turkish club. But in the previous season, they played the final. Then they scored 8 goals one by one in the net of the Baskets. This is the best win in the history of the Champions League considering the situation. Liverpool scored the first goal in the 19th minute. Yossi Benayoun then scored a hat trick in 36-56 minutes. In the next two matches, they beat Porto 4-1 and Marseille 0-4 to secure the next round.
Real Madrid 8-0 Malmo (2015-16):-
Real Madrid beat Swedish club Malm0 8-0 at home in Santiago Bernabeu. This is the best win in the history of Los Blancos in the Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo scored 4 goals in this match alone. Karim Benzema scored a hat trick. That was Ronaldo's fourth hat-trick in the Champions League. That victory was a memorable match for Real defender Alvaro Arbelo. He was also part of the All-red team in the previous match in which Liverpool beat Besiktas 8-0. Real's big win before this match was 6-0 against Genk. But the Spanish team made new history in the Champions League by serving Ronaldo-Benzema Magic.
Zilina 0-7 Marseille (2010-11):-
Olympic Marseille was the only team in France to win the Champions League. They made new history by beating AC Milan in the 1992-93 season. Didier Deschamps, who won the World Cup as captain and coach for France, was in Marseille. That French team made new history in the Champions League in the 2010-11 season. They beat Slovakian team Zilina by 7-0. However, Marseille couldn't collect any points from the previous three matches of that match. They went ahead 4-0 in the first half. Jignack secured a record victory with a hat-trick in the second half. Marseille went up in the knockout but Manchester United failed to qualify for the next round from the same group.
Barcelona 7-0 Celtic (2016-17):-
Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Luis Suarez - Despite all three of these world-best players, Barcelona couldn't win the La Liga title in the 2016-17 season. To overcome this disappointment Barcelona beat Scottish team Celtic 7-0 in the Champions League. Barcelona's Argentine superstar Messi scored a hat trick in this match. His dealings with Neymar and Suarez were also great at that time. Messi's three goals were assisted by Neymar, Suarez, and Andres Iniesta. In that match, Celtic's tested defense was ruined in front of the Barcelona attack.
