It’s so much fun to find old magazines, but I’m always hoping for old photographs and letters. Old finished like wallpaper and different colour on floors are fun too.

Old houses are the best! I find it a lot more interesting to peel back the layers and modify rather than live in a brand new house.

Bathrooms and kitchens are definitely where so much of the home’s value is. Here both are old so the house was ”cheap” for the size, all functional just really worn out and outdated.

The electric and oil bills are a nightmare as is, so lets try to avoid any extra stress by airing out the house at sub zero temps 😁 Eclectic indeed 😝 And of course I’m not doing anything like that myself,

DIY is for year round! It’s just way more enjoyable to sand cabinet doors outside in +20°C rather than -20°C 😂

Thank you so much! I was so eager to post pics somewhere as soon as I got the last door back on! Haha I have three bedrooms where I pulled out all the laminate floors to reveal the original wood floors

Thanks! I think these nails are a little too girly for me but it was snowing when I did them so I guess I was in a festive mood, in late April 😂 I get lucky with my projects, and sometimes the man comes
