Cast Me Out
Food tastes bitter on my tongue,
And not even a strong drink can
Warm this wearied spirit.
I have given the good to take
On these weak knees of mine.
And I’m cast out with the chaff.
I will cast out all that I am so
That what I am may see a brighter
Day when love reigns in my heart.
