You leave us with a lot to think about. I think of photos as "sparks of memories" because when I look at pictures from the past they evoke more memories from around that same timeframe. We recently spent a week and a half in the southwest and I took fewer pictures than I ever have and I think I enjoyed myself more. I remember asking myself, "Who am I taking these pictures for—myself or others on social media?" More often than not the answer was the latter and that's why I ended up taking so few.
