Same here! What I miss most is just the unstructured, impromptu hang time of the pre-Pandemic days. I remember talking for hours and losing all sense of time.

I understand. It’s the very same way with us. We don’t really socialize with anyone anymore. People are either too busy, have moved on, or have become political extremists who just want to talk politics.

Back-to-basics is a good place to be—just trying to enjoy each moment as best you can. "You are the melody... You don’t walk along it as if it were a road; you are it unfolding. You are the path taking

That can definitely happen. I was jilted a little by the post yesterday and it surprised me. I started writing this post yesterday and had to leave it in draft form and step back because I could see it

I think so too—even when the writing doesn't lead to engagement or connection. Those last two things are definitely icing on the cake though.

This is such a personal decision. I'm glad we live in a time where not having children is more accepted—although the traditional stay-at-home mom is becoming more popular with American conservatives. I

No problem! It's such a magnificent place it was tough to restrain myself. : )

I can't wait for the new season! They're saying mid-to-late this year for the release. The new Peaky Blinders movie is coming to Netflix in May. I'm pretty psyched about that too. It's been such a long

I know, the difference in weather between hemispheres is something I didn't even consider before joining Hive! I don't have a picture including the squirrels (they're in their dreys right now) but here's

I think the system we've lived under for the past 150 years or so is in the process of being broken and remade into something altogether different. I just hope what replaces it is better for us. You're

Good morning! There were definitely more genuine people before the age of social media. The trouble with political correctness and presenting a false persona is it doesn't change how people feel inside—it

Great photos! As I'm typing this I'm watching squirrels playing in the front yard in five inches of snow at 14 degrees (F). It's incredible how resilient they can be. We started feeding a blind squirrel

I agree! Acceptance, learning, and moving on is imperative to happiness.

Great series! We really enjoyed the mind-expanding aspect of that one.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

It's on my list now! : ) Amazing that you're doing so much traveling! I'd highly recommend a couple of days in Killarney. It's a charming town in its own right but there's SO much to do within a short

It sounds as if you two are a good match and have a healthy marriage. It's so important to allow your partner the space to be themselves without retribution or expectations of change. I feel like that's

It would be very sad and exhausting to feel as though you had to wear a mask all the time. I think about my father, in this regard, he was unapologetically himself no matter where he was or who he was

Right, that's one red flag. We'll see what happens!

That all looks marvelous. The UK is calling me in a huge way lately—partially because we're watching the series "All Creatures Great and Small". I've never made my way up to Scotland before but
