The laminated flooring is a pretty good product. It's very durable. Yes! We got a good water-based sealant with a UV coating to protect it. I'd probably be the one to spill coffee or wine on it. : )

Yes, I'd sit for hours and write in a notebook. As long as I'm not interrupted (directly engaged in conversation) the world just melts away around me when I write. It's kind of like wearing noise cancelling

I never made it up there but my parents loved it! They have a few pictures from the late 60's and it looks idyllic. My uncle Tony's cabin was a true log cabin too. I wish that was still in the family.
