RE: Why? + AI + DIY = Oh My!
Amazingly, it's the exact same. The cool thing is you can tailor the essential oils to get whatever scent you'd like. The store-bought paste smells really medicinal but I think the next batch I'll use

I share you concern about a robot caring for children. I already see how too much technology has stifled the younger generations' social/communication skills. I think a much better use case for humanoid

It was a fun experiment but I don't think companies have to worry because most people don't have the time or desire to make something like this. I don't really worry too much about the connected devices

RE: Memoir Monday #46 (1/20-1/26) - What Makes You Sad?
It definitely is sad seeing an older person who has never learned their lessons or evolved in any way. One of my favorite things about the phase of life I'm in now (middle age) is being able to step back

RE: It may be a problem...
Life becomes so much better when you learn to identify those who're addicted to chaos and negativity and free yourself from their vortex of drama. It's tough to walk away at first but becomes easier. I've

Once I saw how well it worked it got me thinking about so many other things it could reverse engineer! Thanks and I wish you a wonderful week my friend.

RE: Memoir Monday #46: What Makes You Sad?
Thank you for your contribution this week Nancy! As I've grown older, I've discovered living a life of joy in spite of the sadness is really the ultimate triumph in life. We're exposed to so much more

RE: Memoir Monday #45 That women that was my mother
Thanks for this glimpse into your childhood and introduction to your Mom. That must've been a huge transition to adjust to, moving from Thailand to Canada! Looking back at our childhood days in the 1970's

RE: Superstitious (An Original Short Story)
Thank you! I appreciate it Nancy! This is one I originally wrote in 2016 or so but I did a complete rewrite yesterday and I finally feel satisfied with it. I think it could be adapted into a longer piece!

Thank you! It definitely isn't easy being a writer. There are many hurdles to overcome but the largest hurdle of them all is self-doubt. I hope you have a wonderful week!

I'm always thankful for those kinds of corrections. The writing I put out here on Hive is usually recently drafted so there isn't a lot of editing done.

Thanks and I'm glad it held your interest! I'll probably publish a collection of the stories at some point. This was one was actually a story I wrote in 2016 or so but I was never fully satisfied with

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I worry sometimes people won't have the attention span for these anymore. I wrote this several years ago but was never satisfied with it. I ended up putting some hours

Thank you Joan! This is so true. So much of our fate is determined by how we respond to sadness. Have a great week!

RE: Memoir Monday #46 (1/20-1/26) - What Makes You Sad?
Yes, we're working on it. : ) Thanks! This weather is to be expected in January and February here but I'm never ready for it. We're about four or so hours, by air, from the Pacific Ocean. It takes us just
