RE: Memories of my mother | MEMOIR MONDAY (WEEK 45)
What an amazing woman! You're so lucky to still have your Mom and I'm glad technology allows you to remain close despite the distance. I'm in a similar situation. My Mom is 800 miles away but we talk on

RE: What Makes Me Sad? Hmmm....
Thank you for your entry Edith! It's sad how some people in the world take advantage of the kind-hearted. Standing up to that and not letting people steal your kindness is a triumph. Take care of yourself

Thank you Nancy! I can't believe we're almost at the end of a whole year of Memoir Monday. It went quickly. We're looking for ways to pass the torch to others to keep it going beyond the first year, more

RE: Memoir Monday #46 (1/20-1/26) - What Makes You Sad?
A lot of us are being gas lit on the daily. This is so true! It's like a kind of hypnotism that we must all free ourselves from...the ultimate escape room. That was a huge lesson the blockchain taught

Those are big ones as well. I think all of the negative influences in the world create so many additional barriers to people living their best life. There are still people who find their way and that's

The introspection involved in writing about this prompt really did teach me a lot about how I view the world. I'm so glad you've connected with Memoir Monday and are doing such a great job representing

RE: Memoir Monday: What is one of your favorite memories of your mother?
Your Mother sounds like a wonderful woman and it's clear that she loves you very much! Your description of her reminded me a lot of my Father, who was forced to be "tough" to survive when he

You're welcome! A lot of the big corporations just care about their bottom line now, sadly, and not as much about the product quality. The modern Old Spice smells decent for about five minutes then morphs

This is how it used to be in America too. Almost everyone wore some kind of fragrance up until about twenty or so years ago. When I go to Montreal I notice perfume and cologne is still in fashion (maybe

I remember the entire house (our house was small) smelling like cologne after my Dad got ready! I remember Red! Some of the girls in our H.S. wore Tatiana, Love's Baby Soft, and a few other drug store
