RE: Memoir Monday #25 (8/26-9/1) - Have you ever lost a friendship that meant a lot to you?
Family and friends are everything, really. I'm glad you still have a cohesive network of old friends! This becomes even more valuable and precious as we age. I'm sorry for the loss of your childhood friend,

Absolutely! Distance matters. It takes much more work the further you are away.

I can relate. Sometimes I'm lost in my imagination half the time. Lol. I'm glad you had a good week! We're having a heat wave here. It's Mother Nature's last blast of hot air before things really start

Sure! You can answer any of the prompts at any time. I just kindly ask that people don’t use the #memoirmonday tag for unrelated posts. A few have been doing this and they’re not upvoted or shared.

RE: Look for people whose lives you'd enjoy
I'm a firm believer in the adage, "trust by verify". I'm super choosey about who I listen to about anything, especially finances, in this age of the "influencer". Most of these people

RE: Who let me work? | Memoir Monday #24
That is very strange when you come to that realization in life. It came much later for me, I think, because I had been immersed in the corporate hierarchy from such a young age (24). I think I was in my

I've always had just a handful of close friends too. The political divisiveness you describe has descended on this country as well. Quite a few friends and relatives have turned against each other in America

I never experienced dorm life but imagine it's the perfect environment to build close friendships. Friendships do, oftentimes, rely on being in close proximity!

RE: Buddy Guy: Damn Right, Farewell Tour
That is so awesome! If you ever find yourself in Chicago you'll have to try to stop in his venue, Legends. If he's not touring he's usually there. The food is pretty good too.

RE: Karma Is Real
Data breaches are way too common and the penalties aren't nearly stiff enough for companies who hold our data. I think there were over twenty major breaches just last year alone. This book is up there

I think sometimes it's easy money for them. I often wonder if they'd do better if they funneled all of that effort and creativity into a legit business?
