RE: Karma Is Real
Yes, as they say, if it seems to be too good to be true it usually is. The saddest part of all this is the self-loathing the victims of these kinds of crimes usually walk away from the experience with.

These kinds of scams/hacking are SO widespread! I don't think it's possible to completely protect ourselves but there are things we can do to lessen our risk. I worry about the elderly the most. My mom

RE: Karma Is Real
It seems life is, and always has been, a battle between good and evil. I think we're all part of a universal consciousness that just keeps getting reborn again and again. Thanks!

Lol, I think that scam has been around for a while. With 99% of these scams you just wonder "how can people fall for this?" but they must fool enough people to make it lucrative for them. My

In looking at the climate change data it seems like it could be a 12,000 year natural cycle but greatly accelerated by humans pumping excessive amounts of C02 into the atmosphere. A lot of folks think

Yes we do need more strong, confident father figures in the world. My Dad's generation were men of action. They didn't look to others for validation, protection. or direction. Pete was amazing. Almost

There's no greater feeling than the exhaustion you get from gardening. A lot of people here in the US are waking up to the importance of organic farming. It's a struggle here because of how much corporations

That took a lot of courage to just pick up and move like you did with no plan or a place to stay! It sounds like you learned a lot of valuable lessons from the experience. I'm glad it worked out for you!

I like how you used the proceeds of those first few jobs to buy a computer. How important was that computer to your future? I bought my first real computer around 1993 and it was the gateway to everything

You've had a lot of different kinds of jobs! Isn't it strange to think back to the times before inflation was so horrible and how much a dollar could buy? I think I made under $5 an hour when I started
