Let me extract emotion completely and give you my investor's eye. HBD and HIVE are both cryptocurrency. One is worth more and offers a far better return. HBD. To get that return, a person needs no solid stake or acknowledgement of governance. As an investor, I would opt to purchase the one that delivers a better yield. The only problem with that crypto, is I can only get it on a foreign exchange and then have to have an account on Hive where I would put it in savings. Or, I could jump through a bunch of hoops, then swap it once I get the desired amount of HIVE, on the internal exchange. Once a month, without caring what goes on, I collect and compound. Not bad. Kind of a hassle though, not sure I even want to do all that when I can get that same 15% way easier on another chain. What would be great is if I could have the compounding happen every three seconds like HIVE. HIVE has way better liquidity, if only the rate was higher, I might actually care a little more about this Hive chain and see what it was about but, naw, three percent isn't worth my time. I can get better profit from buying Nvidia or something. And I don't want to do that. Guess I'll just go stake some DOT with the quickness and get over twice that return. My investor's eye says, HBD and HIVE are not worth the trouble, and makes sense why they are barely in the top 1000. Used to be top ten, wasn't it?
