REMEMBER
When everything you've ever wanted stares you in the face
And the pieces of that puzzle begin to fall into place
Like they've been touched by an alien from space
Causing all of you to tremble from the base

This is a poem I wrote a day before I had to go up on stage for a musical performance. I had often struggled with performance anxiety and I wrote this to reassure myself of the fact that this what I've always wanted, that I know what I have to offer and I just have to make others see it. It has gotten a lot better over the years and I can't wait to see it fully disappear. I hope we all find the strength to be ourselves fully in the presence of people.
