The song is off his third studio album titled, Starboy released in 2016.
The song is kinda like a confession to someone and according to speculations, the singer and then girlfriend, Bella Hadid ended their relationship towards the release date of the album.
Looking through the lyrics, one can agree that the speculations are true.
Love can be hard and when you find that person you will die for, it just makes perfect sense to be alive but when that relationship ends, someone definitely dies inside.
