Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.
Today's mission was to destroy a small Mongol camp located near Omugi Cove. While speaking with a farmer inside the cove, I learned that the Mongols had set up a small camp in the woods to the southwest. Since the location was nearby, I wasted no time and set off on horseback. Ordinary people could never be safe with enemies lurking in the vicinity, so destroying the camp was my top priority.
On my way, I spotted several dead bodies in the forest. It was evident that the Mongols had been wreaking havoc in the area for quite some time. A short while later, after covering a distance of about four hundred meters, I reached the camp.
Before entering the camp, I carefully surveyed the surroundings, just as I usually did. Observing the positions of the soldiers, I created a plan to launch an attack using stealth tactics.
First, I entered a room. A Mongol soldier was standing guard at the door. Seizing the opportunity, I approached from behind and killed him with a single blow; the other soldiers nearby remained completely unaware. Then, I spotted another soldier busy lighting a fire, with a wild dog prowling close by. As the dog rushed towards me upon spotting me, I quickly executed an assassination strike to finish it off as well—all without making a sound.
I spotted the camp captain. He was standing alone, practicing combat moves. It struck me then that there was no point in hiding anymore. It was time to face everyone. So, I initiated a standoff. As the standoff began, three Mongol soldiers advanced towards me one by one. Thanks to my newly upgraded skill, I cut them all down in an instant. Witnessing this ferocious attack, another soldier collapsed to the ground in terror, something that occasionally happens following a skill upgrade. Without hesitation, I finished him off as well. Four soldiers were dead within mere seconds.
There were only two survivors left in the camp. I thought it wouldn't take long to finish them off. But one of them was an archer who had fire arrows. He fired two in quick succession and set me on fire. Things got tough for a moment, but I used Resolve to restore my health.
Then I wasted no more time. I ran and killed the archer first. The last one left was a heavily armored soldier. As he attacked with a rain, I parried perfectly. I counterattacked and finished him off there. That is how the entire camp was cleared of the Mongols. I scouted the area to gather essential resources such as steel, iron, and supplies. Today's mission was a success, and the area is safe once again.
