Owwwww, not knowing a lot about Stoicism other than that it suppose to push 'feelings' out, I thought: WTF is she going for? And then I opened a webpage that talked about this in basic terms, while also showing the same book you read. All positive statements. Increase happiness and all that. But I still wonder about this philosophy. Is it indeed to try and put your feelings to a stop? Or is it to try to stop the negative feelings, while the positive feelings are still flowing through the body and mind? I for sure should read this book Meditation. You got me interested ;)

Many psychologists and Thearputs will say: Never ever push negative feelings away. So I suppose they are not from a Stoic breed.

I do very much hope these two way-of-life philosophies will support you in the ways you like to go through life ;)
