I noticed the opposite once in Granada: a Spanish guy who was working so hard to be funny and impress the much more attractive girl he was walking around with. I hope they hit it off, I'm not so sure about

The Dutch #electricity grid is so overloaded that any new connections are put on hold in the center of the country, where I live. Meanwhile, the law makes the overworked grid operator install a two-way

The most inspiring part of the Artemis II mission: the safety posters for the engineers who built the SLS rocket.

Yeah, I actually recognized the Rio and Princes brands. I hope you got to eat fresh tuna!

Made a $12 profit on CoinEx's 50 USDT futures trial fund (limited to two orders and 30% profit). Unfortunately, they won't let me withdraw this amount unless I start trading with real money soon.

Once I even found skyr with added fruit and sugar. That's the Icelandic solid yogurt which tastes like chalk and has an even higher protein percentage than Greek yogurt. Really pointless to add sugar then.

Another thing that shocked me was that some people would sort their books by color...

Utrecht, NL. The housing association I rent from put solar panels on the roof for the entire building, covering the cost of lighting in shared spaces. See 2. Nobody considered banning them, but for condos,

All politics is local, especially in the Netherlands. In Wednesday's local elections, local parties won more votes than the three parties forming the national government. Actually talking and listening

It's too late to change this now, because so many voters are pensioners...

Local elections coming up in two weeks. I'm planning to vote for the Student & Starter party, because the kids need a break. But I'm not sure whether candidates #3 and #4 will get along...

It turns out my prediction from 2022 was on target after all. The easy money was easy come, easy go.

Gym update: last night I failed to reach a new 1 rep max on the bench. New challenge: do x pushups everyday where x is the day of the month, i.e. starting with 5 today.

Cake Wallet is moving fast, even in the middle of rolling out a big upgrade (Lightning support).

PeakD supports all these, plus DBuzz, which is technically different from the others (using posts rather than comments).
