After clamoring up the hillside alongside a throng of people, you may be able to secure a decent spot to set up your tripod before the sun comes up. That is how it goes these days anytime you go to a well publicized place... everyone snapping essentially the same pic whether it be in front of Angkor Wat or here at Mt. Bromo.
Sometimes, that's okay to get the photo that everyone else is getting. Sometimes, I wonder though, is there a point to it?
Over the last few years, I began doing larger panoramas and time-lapse. I needed something to challenge myself with and time-lapse definitely fits the bill. There are so many obstacles in producing a smooth and pleasing time lapse.
