Rainy day today with fall temperatures pushed yesterday's heat wave away for good. Walked outdoors this morning in cool wet weather to get as many steps in as I could. This way I did not feel guilty skipping

Plowing through some record temperatures here in N.J. with a high in the 90s it felt like a July day! Had to get out early to get some steps in before the hear arrived. Than moved around a lot later on

Half through the afternoon I had 5500 steps. Got a idea to cross 10k and make it my goal. Had to push through some late day heat and just keep going. Crossed 10k and very happy with the results. 10377

I picked up these mums the other day to plant. They are starting to bloom already. Spent part of today walking, cutting the grass and trimming 2 bushes. Added up to a 11 k day. More tomorrow 11654 Gardening,

Started my morning walk today and past by a local bagel shop. Someone must of over cooked one. The local fire department showed up. Not sure what happened, but it looked like they resumed normal operations
