CCC's Street Art Contest #150 - Happiness on the shore

Hello everyone!

With a total summer feeling, thinking when I will go swimming again I post another urban mural that I discovered recently here in this community #StreetArt hosted by @digi-me and I would like to join one more time this week's contest, CCC's Street Art Contest #150 And thanks also @heroldius for the support to this community and hivers.

The week before I already shared another fantastic, original and colorful mural that is located on the same avenue in Sagunto, Spain. So I was able to see two in the same walk, and two very different but both impressive, full of color and strength. You can see the previous one here: "CCC's Street Art Contest #149 - Psychedelic fantastic creatures"

And this week I'm sharing the second and my favorite, because this street mural says a lot just by looking at it. This sentence is fulfilled here: “a picture is worth a thousand words”. Because many things can be said, but the image says it all.

It says a lot to me because it represents a lot of what makes me feel good, the beach and happiness. When we are focused on the here and now, there is nothing but the seashore.

That's what it's about, it's a simple mural in terms of elements, a little girl playing with the wet sand on the seashore. It seems simple, but it says so much: happiness, innocence, curiosity, relaxation, peace, nature and life. Says it all.

This is how we spend the hot summers here, since we were little we played on these beaches, we wet our feet, we built castles with the sand, we enjoy the waves. We laugh, we refresh ourselves and we relax until we get older, and we continue to feel all of that on the beach. Or when we look at the children, or when we look at this mural.

Once again, an intense and beautiful blue background of bright waters that almost blends in with the sky, and everything forms an almost three-dimensional image because it seems to come out of the wall, right?

And it reminds us to a very known painter here, Joaquín Sorolla, and all his paintings of the Mediterranean beaches in Valencia, very close... Probably the artist felt inspired.
This wonderful artistic work has been made by Anna Repullo (from Barcelona province) in 2021 for the Sagunto Urban Art Festival "Més que murs". This blog gives more information and in the news where we see the work not completely finished... but already intense and emotional.

Because it contains emotions, a childhood moment, that feeling of wanting to discover the world around us, the feeling of being happy there at sea, to be able to play, to feel like children and little else. Because to be happy sometimes you don't need much more than happiness on the shore...

Thanks for reading! Have a happy and nice day.
