Despite feeling a bit under the weather, Monday was an extremely active day for me as I broke above 15K steps. Part of the story was that I was proctoring an assessment, so I was actively moving around my room all day.
The other part of the story is that after school, I got out to play in a local Magic the Gathering draft night. There is a local gaming pub and LAN center that hosts MtG drafts on Mondays and commander on Wednesdays. They also have plenty of other scheduled gaming programing throughout the week and typically host video gaming tournament events over the weekend.
This Monday happened to be a chaos draft because it is the last week before a new set release. This pub regularly supports these fun chaos drafts where the drafters can bring any 3 packs from any tournament-legal MtG set for the draft. These drafts are so much fun to me because instead of trying to draft a synergy deck across multiple different expansions, it is usually better to just send good signals and draft a powerful deck.
For a night cap, I stopped by the fried chicken strip chain Raising Cane's to marvel at their artwork. I don't eat much fast food, and I tend to stay away from fried foods, too, but their artwork and memorabilia collection is fun to look at. Finally, check out my FitBit stats from Monday:
Until next time...
