You know me so well!!! You brought me right past those gorgeous orchids! Those were exceptionally stunning today. They must be fresh off the truck! I like how they integrated a little color in select spots. Those pots are so happy-looking, aren't they? I usually take a picture of them and look at the pictures for ideas on how to do my own pots. Especially at the nursery where they like to give you ideas. I feel so uninspired some days to make it look amazing like theirs! LOL

This is such a nice store, with lots of little special items floating around. The cheese section of these slightly elevated givers of yumminess are usually a cut above and I like to see something different for me to try. Oh! Bread! I try not to eat it, I am so much a carboholic. But, I do LOVE it! C'mon bread!! Can't we just be friends?

Le sigh.

The produce section is worth writing home about. Looks fresh and inviting! I love vegetables, fruits are a given. I actually don't know any that I don't like. I fed the kids all of them when they were young and now, none of them are fussy. Of course, that is what my mother did. She made it, we ate it. I think the younger generation is kinder in that they give them choices. :)

Let's run through those desserts with our eyes closed, we should come out in front of the coffee! Now we are talking!!Well, I have a full cart now, we better go and check out! Thanks for taking us along! That was fun!!! And we got flowers to boot!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
