Hi,
I only joined Steemit a couple of days ago. From what I've seen since joining, I really wish I had joined much earlier. Now that I'm finally here, I wish to make the most out of this experience.
So about me...
My name is Dop, just another regular Nigerian guy trying to realise his dream. A simple guy making the best out of a complicated world.
Trained as an architect, I guess it is just natural for me to be a stickler for hardwork, creativity and originality. As a strong admirer of organic architecture (the architecture that strives to preserve the natural environment, without destroying its natural features like trees during construction), I believe that buildings are meant to improve and not to destroy the natural environment. So, I try to reflect this in my designs as much as possible.
That being said, then it's not surprising that the american architect, Frank Lloyd Wright (the father of Organic Architecture) and The Falling Water are my role model and best architectural work respectively.

I'm also a lover of arts. Be it paintings, photography, literary works, and especially music and movies. Works of art soothe my soul.
When I'm in pain, they bring relief.
When I'm sad, they bring joy.
When I lack inspiration, they sparkoff ideas.
When I'm in high 'spirits', they sustend it.
They bring out feelings and experiences that I can barely get elsewhere.
Then again, I'm a man of variety, and like they say, 'variety is the spice of life'. After all, experiencing the same thing each day is boring. Hence my reason for joining Steemit- Variety. I believe that the vast number and diversity of people on this platform, will provide me with more than enough 'variety'.
I want to feel something different.
I want to see something different.
I want to do something different.
And I want to learn something different.
As much as I hope to benefit from Steemit, I really hope to change the 'experiences' of other people on this platform.
So please follow @dop-dop let's have a good time
