DIYHub is a curation initiative aiming to support creators who love crafting, making things from scratch, home & gardening. We have many passionate and talented creators who love sharing their projects and works with us.
This new series is all about these awesome creators. We will have them sharing with us their experiences in their journey, how they started to get involve with what they are doing now, what are the challenges they face and how they overcome those challenges. And maybe share some tips so we can learn together.
If you have any questions you would like to ask our creators, you are also welcome to drop us a comment here at this post or in our Discord.
How to get featured in one of our upcoming interviews?
My name is Agbogo Chidinma, I'm a Nigerian by birth. My hive username is @agbogo. I'm currently married with 5 children. I'm a teacher by profession and a lover of Agriculture.
My girl friend was the one who convinced me of making beads. Currently, I'm learning how to use leather to make earring, and bracelet.
Yes, I have thought of given up in crafting. This is because my children almost consume the whole day from me. I'm yet to use the crafting for money making.
Motherhood, homesteading, Jewelry, and yesterday Beentrepreneur.
I first made my publications in motherhood after my introduction post in Gems. As a mother of 5, I love sharing mother's experiences in the Motherhood community. Other mothers are also in the community who share their own knowledge which I also learn from.
In Homesteading community, I pass knowledge about my farm and other home activities. This also helps me to emulate from others.
About 6 days ago, I scan through one user in the DIYhub community who I followed to the jewelry community. In the community, I'm only aware that they share knowledge about jewelry. I recently joined the community to learn more about jewelry. It'll help to sharpen me more in jewelry making.
In Beentrepreneur, I recently understood that the community share knowledge about ventures and it interest me to share and learn from the community.
I enjoy motherhood content. It gives me the opportunity to learn more from other mothers nation wide.
@brittandjosie,
@jamerussell,
@grindan
My advice to those who want to start crafting journey is to be patient with the community. If they're patient enough, they'll share and learn new thing from other users.
Here's some of Agbogo's creations.
