In the long run if you quite a few miles it's probably less effort the chain stays cleaner and lubed for about 300 to 500k and there is less ware on all drive train when I was cycling regularly in the

Holland must be the best place in the world for cycle rides. A number of years ago I was working in Rotterdam and the hotel had a few Dutch style bikes they lent out. I regularly took one out at the weekend

All of the inside shots in the movie were shot in a film studio in Wellington sorry to burst that bubble. One nice link though is the interior was all designed by the original set designers for the movie.
