Many blessings to all my fellow readers. I hope you have a blessed Sunday. Well, to start the day off right, there’s nothing better than a drawing, is there? Today, I drew inspiration from one of the cards in the game to create a new one. I chose one of the rare microphones: the R328 RS Frozen. As you can see, this microphone boasts a beautiful aesthetic, seemingly inspired by ice.
I love the artistic design of the card; it features melting icebergs in the background. In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful backgrounds I’ve ever seen on a microphone card. I chose that predominant blue hue of the melting ice to paint the background of my drawing. The microphone itself is quite large and bulky, so I assume the design corresponds to some type of studio microphone or something similar. Take a look at how I began: first, I sketched out the inner frame of the card.
After finishing the frame, I continued drawing the microphone body. I started with the top part, which is square and almost rectangular. I used darker shades of black for it to make it stand out more from the other parts of the microphone. This gives it a more elegant look. Then I drew the remaining part of the body.
In the next step, I drew the missing area as the bottom one. I also drew most of the internal divisions. These divisions are important for painting later because they help you create a sketch, and each area has a different color, which helps me a lot as a guide.
Now comes the painting. As you'll see below, I used blue as the predominant color, since it's inspired by the ice floes in the background of the card. But it's best if you see it for yourselves to appreciate the process. For me, it was the most fun part, as always.
